Parking near Artis

In the heart of Amsterdam is ARTIS, the Netherlands' oldest zoo. Nature, culture and heritage have come together here since 1838. What started as just a garden with a pond is now the oldest and one of the most famous zoos in the Netherlands. At ARTIS, you can not only see the magnificent animals like lions, elephants and giraffes, but also numerous lesser-known mammals, fish, reptiles and amphibians from different parts of the world and gain new experiences. Also visit the most innovative museum Micropia, a unique and original museum that reveals the world of microbes in a fascinating way, or one of the 27 monumental buildings in the park such as the ARTIS library, the Aquarium building or the seven garden ornaments. The ARTIS library consists of rare books, original drawings and prints on natural history. The ARTIS library is currently managed by Allard Pierson, which is now the museum and knowledge institute for the heritage collections of the University of Amsterdam. The library serves as a study and work library. So, besides being a place to study or work, it is a fun and beautiful library to visit when you spend a day at ARTIS. How much does it cost to park near ARTIS?

By reserving a parking space online in advance, you no longer have to worry about a full car park. At Q-Park Waterlooplein parking starts from €13 per hour. This car park is a 9-minute walk from ARTIS. At Q-Park Oostpoort you can also easily reserve your parking space online and park for only €26 per day. From Q-Park Oosterpoort, you can reach ARTIS after a 20-minute walk through Amsterdam.
