Part of our history is Anne Frank's Achterhuis, located on Prinsengracht. Going to the Anne Frank Huis by car? Park your car at Q-Park Nieuwendijk or Q-Park Amsterdam Centraal. At Q-Park Nieuwendijk, you can park all day with a reservation for just €27,50, or choose Q-Park Amsterdam Centraal for €32,50 per day. Don't want to park for a whole day? No problem! You can also reserve by the hour.
In this house on Prinsengracht, you take a look at the Frank family, and especially their famous daughter Anne. You step into the shoes of the people in hiding, see the famous bookcase that closed them off from the outside world for years and experience how small the space is that they lived in all those years. On the walls are various texts from Anne's diary, which are also read aloud by a speaker. Here, you walk through Anne's life as it were, experiencing the suffocating atmosphere and environment in which the people in hiding lived every day.
During a visit to the Anne Frank Huis, you will learn a lot about the Second World War, anti-Semitism, how Anne and her family lived and much more. It is a small museum, so you need to buy tickets in advance with a time slot to enter. Keep this in mind, otherwise you'll be queuing for a long time and for nothing on the Prinsengracht.
As the Achterhuis is located in the centre of Amsterdam, the parking spaces around it are probably already full. Therefore, it is smart to reserve a parking space in advance in one of the Q-Park car parks in the centre of Amsterdam. When you reserve a parking space in advance, you can be sure of a parking spot, and you won't have to drive around in circles until you see one.
At Q-Park Nieuwendijk you can park from €27,50 per day and at Q-Park Amsterdam Centraal you can park from €32,50 per day. You are assured of a parking space by booking in advance. You can quickly and easily drive in based on your license plate.
